- By 'Custom Artwork' it means 'The Box Cover' (which does not actually have the MTV logo like the picture on the site, the actual discs themselves are white with a standard logo imprint)
- By 'Un-Edited & Commercial Free' it means 'Probably Downloaded from the Internet and Converted to MPEG for use on DVD' (some of the episodes have graphic logos advertising websites i've never heard of at the start, while others have the Tivo logo, some even have PVR capture logos at the start, followed by the PG rating in the top left hand corner).
The search continues, maybe one day MTV will obtain the music rights (or fix whatever other reason exists) and put it on DVD, 26,000 fans with internet connectivity can't be wrong.

How bad was the quality, out of curiosity?
How about the quality? Is it any better then what is available on torrents?
bootleg or nay, i may be forced to buy this dvd...i need my fix!

I ordered the Daria Box set and It didn't take long for me to see that they were recorded from TV.
Some episodes are a little granney,A couple parts of the episodes cuts out words.. Some of the volume is higher then others.. But most of the episodes are decent enough..
In Disc 8 they have the freaken friends music video and the Garbage music video and some other special features and the polite episode.
I am disappointed that they are bootleg copies but hey, at least I can watch them with my girl friend now..

Obviously it's going to be a bootleg... Everything you find will be a bootleg, and you know this since you know MTV hasn't released it. We'll have to take what we can get.
